A week ago we have mentioned that Bollywood actor John Abrahman would team up with
Ram Gopal Varma to make the sequel to ‘Satya’ which was a huge hit in 1998. Today, RGV gives out the reason through a microsoft word interview questions & answers on twitter why he is making ‘Satya 2’ and why John Abrahman is producing it.
According to RGV, the reason for ‘Satya 2’ is “Satya” was the story of one guy among thousands of people who keep coming to Mumbai everyday which primarily means that there are that many stories to tell provided that they are as interesting or more.
Giving out the reason why John Abraham is producing ‘Satya 2’ he mentioned: “John heard the concept of ‘Satya 2’ through a mutual friend and he expressed interest. When I met him and we spoke at length I was amazed at his insights into my detailed narration of ‘Satya 2’ story. It’s purely our common excitement towards the subject matter which is making us collaborate.”
He further mentioned: “John is not acting in the film, for that matter he is not even doing an item song. The film is being done with complete new comers many of whom have not even had stage or TV experience. ‘Satya 2’ is a completely different story with completely different characters without any reference to ‘Satya’ in any form. Auditions for the actors are on. The regular shooting will start after the completion of his current project ‘26/11’.”
