Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D K are the award winning US-based filmmakers who won accolauds in Bollywood for their tasteful films like ‘Shor’ (Short Film) and ‘Shor in the City’. Their debut film ‘Flavours’ in 2004 earned them good international recognition. Their latest directorial film in Hindi ‘Go Goa Gone’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and Puja Gupta is ready for release. Now the duo has decided to focus on the Telugu film industry as well. Known for their good comedy films, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D K will associate with the creative partner Seeta Menon for making full-fledged entertainers in Andhra Pradesh. They have already launched a film under their D2R Film banner with Varun Sandesh and Sandeeep Kishan as heroes and the New York based Milani Kannokada as heroine. A new talent Siraj Kallani, who worked as assistant director for their earlier film ‘Shor in the City’ (2011) is making his debut as director through this Telugu movie. Venkat Ravikiran will present the film.

Sirj Kalla came up with a brilliant story exactly during the time we made the decision of making films in Telugu. Since the story and screenplay immensely impressed us, we decided to launch this film in Telugu. We hope the Telugu audience will also make our attempt a grand success. The movie will be released in this year after which we’ll be making films in Telugu regularly. We already have few good scripts with us.”
