Rajamouli’s ‘Eega’ broke records worldwide by overtaking not only Bollywood biggie ‘Bol Bachchan’ but also Hollywood’s ‘The Amazing Spiderman’ in less than a week. In this line the film earned popularity among non-Telugu speaking public also.
The 1990s Bollywood beauty Raveena Tandon, also seen in few Telugu films like ‘Bangaru Bullodu’ and ‘Aakasa Veedilo’, is highly impressed with Rajamouli’s ‘Eega’. The actress who visited Hyderabad on Friday to inaugurate the James and Jewellery said that she saw the film ‘Eega’ and liked it. Interestingly, Raveena is impressed with Nani’s looks and performance as well. Indeed it’s true that even though Nani appears for a very short time on the screen, he leaves an indelible impession. That’s how he’s achieving wider recognition for his role in ‘Eega’. Rama Rajamouli should be credited for Nani’s stylish looks in the film.
