‘Eenadu’, ‘Nagavalli’, ‘Bodyguard’ and the recent ‘Masala’ have all turned out to be duds, yet
Venkatesh decides to leave no stone unturned when it comes to remake films because he still strongly believes that only remake films can bring back his lost glory. In the process this time it’s Akshay Kumar-Paresh Rawal’s Hindi satirical comedy drama ‘OMG – Oh My God!’ for Venky. Besides this project, the actor has couple of promising projects like the multi-starrer film in Ram Charan-Krishna Vamsi-Bandla Ganesh combination and a solo film titled ‘Radha’ under Maruthi’s direction. This year Venky did three multi-starer films - 'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', 'Shadow' and 'Masala' of which SVSC was a box-office hit. However, that success was fully credited to Mahesh Babu.
The Telugu version of ‘Oh My God’ will reportedly hit floors in February. The film will be made under Suresh Productions banner. Rajendra Prasad is expected to step into Paresh Rawal’s shoes in Telugu version while Venky will be seen in Akshay Kumar’s role. Dolly of 'Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam' and 'Thadaka' fame is going to direct this film. Do stay with us for more details.
