Shruti Haasan has signed a film in the combination of NTR-Harish Shankar. In this film although she will be sharing her screen space with NTR and Samantha, she is not playing the second female lead role. Director Harish confirmed it in twitter saying, “For One and all I wanna Confirm that @shrutihaasan is not playing a second lead infact she is playing a special character In my film. And neither @Samanthaprabhu2 is playing a Second lead ... Both the girls have their own importance in the film.” According to him, the reason for casting two top heroines in the film will be known to public only after the film hits theaters. On the other hand, Shruti says that she agreed to be part of the film only because she was impressed with the way her character Bhagya Lakshmi was designed by director Harish in ‘Gabbar Singh’ and that she is confident in him and his commitment to his artists. She also claimed that she missed the opportunity to work with NTR in the past due to non-adjustment of her call sheets and that she doesn’t want to miss this chance again. Shruti is currently involved with two Telugu projects – ‘Balupu’ and ‘Yevadu’. According to her she gave nod to two more films the details of which will be revealed soon. Stay tuned!
