Srikanth’s kids, Roshan and Medha, are going to be introduced as child artists in Gunasekhar’s ‘Rudramadevi’. While Roshan will be seen as a young Chalukya Veerabhadra (Rana), Medha will essay the role of 9 year old Rudramadevi (Anushka). In this movie, Gunasekhar is going to make the star kids go for a great sword fight. Hence special attention is being given to the two kids while they are presently being trained in horse riding and sword fighting as some real risky shots will be canned on them. This Gunasekhar’s dream project has completed 45% shoot in two shooting schedules. The third schedule will begin on August 1st. In the second schedule, a song and few prominent scenes on Anushka were shot in the sets of 1000 pillars temple and Ranga Mandapam, a bit song on Prakash Raj, a Siva Thandavam on Anushka and few other important scenes on Rana and Anushka in Mogili Charla Ekaveera Devi temple were canned.
Ajay Vincent handles the camera, dialogues by parachuri Brothers, lyrics by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, music by Ilayaraja and the sets were designed by Padma Shri Thota Tarani. Story, screenplay, production and direction is helmed by Gunasekhar.
