Choreographer Raghuram passed away on Saturday following heart-attack in his residence in Chennai. He is survived by wife Girija (choreographer) and daughter Gayatri (dancer cum choreographer). He was one of the popular dance choreographers in Indian Cinema, who worked with several top stars in about 1000 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
Raghuram master completed 50 years of his film journey as choreographer last year. Some of his notable works in Telugu are 'Sagara Sangamam' and 'People's Encounter'. He also played a small role in Kamal Haasan's 'Dasavataram'.
Superstar Rajnikanth and several other film personalities offered condolences to his family members. Raghuram's body will be cremated today in Chennai.
