It’s known fact that ‘Attarintiki Daaredhi’ in the combination of Pawan Kalyan, Trivikram Srinivas and BVSN Prasad has got its censor certificate and awaits its release since long. But as the film’s video got leaked on net, producer BVSN Prasad held a press meet to express his distress over piracy and announce the new release date of the film.
BVSN Prasad said, “We have put in a lot of efforts to do this film. But it’s very unfortunate to note that the film has been pirated. Very sad! This is a criminal act. Hence serious action has been to be taken on those who are involved in piracy act. The police and fans should come forward to eradicate piracy. I request the people also not to download the film. We are releasing the film on 27th of September.”
Anti-video piracy chairman Raj Kumar said, “We have learnt that the link was updated in California at around 8 PM. So we instantly alerted everyone. The team is now trying to gather as much information as possible by interrogating in various departments like editing, DI and re-recording. We will definitely figure out who the culprits are in another two days. We are going to solve this problem forever through implementing access controller shortly. We will talk to all reputed people regarding this issue and ensure that such crimes will not repeat again in the future.”
Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna said, “CID took some 2-3 persons to interrogate in the presence of Additional DGP Krishna Prasad. This is worst than a robbery. Strict action has to be taken on those involved. Right now police interrogation is going on about who is involved in this piracy act and where they have done it. Downloading is also a crime. So we request those who have downloaded to delete it immediately. People should not encourage this practice. We have deleted all links and clippings regarding this film too.”
