The Chennai Court issued an arrest warrant for Trisha’s mom Uma Subrahmaniam after she missed a court date. She was due to face the hearing in court, but failed to appear, according to the magistrate.
The warrant was issued by the Chennai Court in connection with defamation case filed by Uma Krishnan against a magnize for publishing morphed pictures of her daughter Trisha in 2005. Since then the case was pending. However, Trisha had recently withdrew the case from the court and still claimed that the pictures were morphed. The legal counsel got irked by it for wasting the court’s time and hence decided to take legal action against her mother Uma Subrahmaniam. It has also been clarified that no warrant has been issued against Trisha.
