Darling outperform the original version of Prema Katha Chitram

When he emerged as a singer crooning jingles for Rahman, he captivated our excitements as a kid and his musical realms found no end to our invigorations. Delivering an impeccable league of outstanding albums across Indian music industry, he made a deliberate shift towards the production and emerged as winner indeed. And now, his new avatar as an actor has beguiled the film buffs for his cool looks of boy to next door. GV Prakash has swept everyone off the feet with a flawless performance as we have seen and revelled in his first look teaser of ‘Darling’. Touted to be a horror-comedy, the genre that has established an inevitable realms down the region, it is a remake of famous Telugu film ‘Prema Katha Chitram’.

Sam Anton makes his maiden debut as a director with this film that has a fantabulous collaboration of producers K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films and Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts.

Shedding light on this flick GV Prakash says, “I am so much elated to be a part of film that brings two great producers of the industry. I happened to meet Gnanavel Raja sir and show him some of my portions in my other film ‘Pencil’. Quite impressed with what I had performed, he approached me for the remake of Telugu film ‘Prema Katha Chitram’, which was a great hit in Telugu and its Kannada, remake as well. We have exerted our scrupulous efforts in delivering the top-notch technical and narrative aspects. Offering a final product with a perfect class was our motto and now we’re happy to see it achieved.”

Darling has Nikki Galrani in female lead with Karunaas, Bala Saravanan and ‘Naan Kadavul’ fame Rajendran playing important roles. The technical crew comprises of Krishnan Vasant (Cinematography), GV Prakash Kumar (Music) and Rooban (Editing).
