Mahesh Babu’s huge action entertainer ‘Aagadu’, which was directed by super director Srinu Vaitla on 14 Reels Entertainment banner and presented by G Ramesh Babu, is ready to hit the screens worldwide on 19th of September. Tamanna played the female lead role and Sruthi Hasan did a special number. Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara are the producers. On the eve of film’s release, producers held press meet.
How is ‘Aagadu’ going to be?
It’s an out and out action entertainer. Each and every frame in the film is very new and fresh. The film won’t have any resemblances of past police stories. Mahesh Babu played a powerful cop. Tamanna played a key role and Sruthi Haasan sizzled in a special number. Brahmanadam will enter the film in second half and Rajendra Prasad’s character will be very emotional. Altogether, it will be like a full meal.
Tell us about the technicians?
This is the third time we are working with Srinu Vaitla. He has very good clarity on what he is doing. Even on technical front this movie is very good. Our journey won’t stop with this. It will go on.
In how many theaters are you planning to release ‘Aagadu’?
So far, ours is the big release. Our film completed the censor formality and received U/A certificate. We are releasing the film in over 2000 theaters on 19th of September. Apart for Telangana and Andhra regions we have included subtitles in all areas.
This is the 50th film for Thaman right?
The listeners said that the songs are good. They will connect to the songs after the release of the film. Thaman has kept his heart and soul for the good outcome of the audio. Rerecording came out wonderfully.
Tell us about locations?
We have picturized the film in all complex environments. Shooting took place in Bellary, Switzerland, Ladakh and Mubai. We have canned few scenes at Bellary Zindal factory in extreme dust conditions. Mahesh was not hesitant to work in those conditions. In Ladakh, we have shot in oxygen deficient conditions. Almost 250 junior artists worked there. 90 out of them were dancers. Mumbai schedule is too worst. We worked in extreme humid conditions.
Tell us about Mahesh’s dances?
Prem rakshith Master has choreographed the dances. Mahesh’s dances will be the highlights of the film. It is the feast for the fans of Mahesh Babu.
What is the role of Eros International?
They are our co-producers. In few areas they are distributing, while in some areas we are doing.
Is there any cut out controversy in Vijayawada?
No, it is not a controversy. Police pitched in as there were high tension wires. In another area they are placing 90feet cut out. Earlier it was only for the film ‘Kanchu Kagada’.
Poster was stacked on a train right?
Yes, on Janma Bhoomi train. It will stay for one month. Meanwhile, we have made world’s biggest police belt for display.
Are there any changes that occurred due to the change of writers?
No, no issues at all. New writers penned freshly. Everybody is saying that dialogues are too good.
Will you dub ‘Aagadu’ to other languages?
We are planning to dub the film in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi languages soon. ‘1’ Nenokkadine will release in Tamil and Malayalam soon. Already it has released in Hindi.
