T.Subbarami Reddy, founder of T.Subbarami Reddy Lalitha Kala Parishath has been instituted for promotion of Art and Culture since so many years. He felt that except Government of India giving Film Awards at national level, no voluntary organization is giving film awards to the film artists, technicians, music directors at national level. Even popular Film Fare Awards are being conducted at region wise only.
T.Subbarami Reddy along with TV9 which is popular TV channel have instituted TSR-TV9 National Film Awards 4 years back and they conducted more successfully these awards for two times. This year TSR-TV9 management have decided to conduct TSR-TV9 National Film Awards for two years i.e. 2013 and 2014 at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad on 19th July by organizing a glittering function. The Awards will be given to the Stars of Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam languages etc. Number of celebrities like Hema Malini, Rishi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Ramesh Sippy, Shakti Kapoor, Madhur Bhandarkar, Shilpa Shetty, Ravina Tandon, Padmini Kolhapure, Jayaprada, Jayasudha, Chiranjeevi will be presenting the Awards.
Every year Information Broadcasting Ministry is conducting National Film Awards headed by a Jury. But in this present TSR-TV9 National Film Awards, Awards will be decided by getting public opinion through SMS to the TV9 Channel. TV9 is receiving lakhs of SMS favouring Stars like Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Jr.NTR, Allu Arjun, Ramacharan, Gopichand, Brahmanandam. Similarly Anushka, Kajaal, Thamanna, Samantha, Shriya, Tapsee, Meena, Trisha and others are also getting SMS to TV9.
In Hyderabad City, the TSR-TV9 National Film Awards presentation function will be a historic event that would be every cherished by all art lovers.
The Awards Presentation function will be preceded by young star dancers like Charmi, Sanjana, Hamsa Nandini and Sraddha Das. The Award winning playback singers will be singing songs.
On 17th July, final results of the film awards will be announced by the Jury headed by T.Subbarami Reddy.
