'UNCHARTED', the American action-adventure flick, is all set to head to theatres on February 18 in English, Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil in India. Ahead of the release of the film, the 'Spiderman: No Way Home' actor has been giving a series of interviews.
Described as one of Hollywood's most exciting and versatile young actors, Tom had to follow a new path while shooting for the action blocks in 'Uncharted'. “It was exciting to have the opportunity to bring a character like this to life – to explore the action sequences and figure out what he could do and what he couldn’t," he says in his latest interview.
Shooting for 'Uncharted' was a roller-coaster experience for Tom, who was engrossed in pulling off the job in the perfect way for four to five weeks, day in and day out.
There were occasions when he felt like he was a hundred feet in the air, attached to a spinning box. Talking about the frightful experience, Tom adds, "I would have to hang on until it would throw me off. The wires would catch me – and that was scary, but it made the scene that much more authentic. We were really pushing the boundaries of what we have seen before in cinema, and paying respect to the incredible action sequences from the games.”
It helped a great deal that Tom is a trained actor. So, he could give his best. The actor is all set to wow the audience.
The action flick will be released in India by Sony Pictures Entertainment. The film also features Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas.
