Amala Paul and director Vijay have initiated the divorce proceedings. The couple appeared before the family court and sought divorce by mutual consent under Section 13(b) of Hindu Marriage act.
The star couple got married in 2014. Differences came up and they started living separately from March 2015. Initially it was believed that Vijay’s parents had objection to Amala restarting her career. But then Vijay came out in open and said that the very important thing in his marriage called trust existed no more. Both have been given six-month statutory judicial separation period. Post that divorce will be granted to them.
