A short film titled ‘Modalu’ was made with new artists Prashanth, Suma and Srivalli based on the real incident that happened at a village in Tamil Nadu district. Sujatha Reddy has directed this 20 min duration short film. The film was made with thriller, sentiment and commercial elements. Briefing about the film’s details, the film unit has arranged press meet on Monday (February 1) at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad.
On this occasion, Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana said, “No need to say about the response for short films of late. Interesting thing is that a lady has made this film. This short film which is having all entertaining elements shows her talent. Specially, screenplay and music will impress everyone. She has the talent to make big film also. I will definitely encourage her if she makes a big film.”
Directress Sujatha Reddy said, “Everyone who watched the film are praising me to the skies. It has given me immense happiness. I’m confident that I will get an identity through this short film ‘Modalu’. I’m thankful to the producer and my brother Apuroop (Siva) for trusting me and having given me this opportunity and all artists and technicians who supported me.”
Hero Prashanth, heroine Srivalli and music director Mallik, Nagu Gavara, Anil, Arun, Kiran, Karunakar, Chitram Srinu and Gemini Suresh and some others have attended the press meet.
