Manasa of ‘Romance’ fame, has been roped in to play Naxalite for Nara Rohith’s upcoming film ‘Appatlo Okadu Undevadu’ which is being directed by Sagar K Chandra. After entertaining audience with bubbly and girl next door characters, the actress is going to portray the role of Naxalite. According to the reports, her role brings twist in the story and the actress is very excited to transform into the role.
During the media interaction, Manasa confessed, “At first I was worried, but after listening to the full script I was very impressed with my role. I play a very powerful character Ahalya, which brings twists and turns in the story. I am extremely happy that I got such a wonderful opportunity at an early stage of my career.”
About her work experience, she explained, “It’s not an easy thing to portray such a role. The film was extensively shot in dense forests and that too most time shooting nights and I have many sleepless nights. I have some action sequences also. But, transforming into the role of Naxalite is totally a different experience. I will be sizzling for a special song.”
The film is jointly produced by Hari and Sunny Raju under Vashishta Movies banner. Sai Karthik is scoring the music.
