Prominent person PV Parabrahma Sastry, who played a crucial role in bringing up Telugu people’s greatness to limelight, has passed away on Wednesday i.e. on July 27. His long list of achievements included right from introducing the history of Kakatiya dynasty to the world and to prove Satavahanas as Telugu kings. Actor Balakrishna, who is playing the title role in ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ who belonged to the Satavahana dynasty, expressed shock over the demise of renowned historian and senior epigraphist PV Parabrahma Sastry. The actor said, “We have learned many unknown facts about ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’, the fifth king in Satavahana dynasty, from the books penned by Parabrahma Sastry from his researches. It’s a sad news that he is no more with us.
As a Telugu lover, I convey my sincere condolences to the bereaved family members and prays for his soul to rest in peace. I assure I will take care of his family.” Director Krish and ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ team conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members of PV Parabrahma Sastry.
