We all know that a super hit Tamil film ‘Thani Oruvan’ is being remade in Telugu with Mega Power Star Ram Charan as hero and Rakul Preet Singh as heroine. The latest we hear is that Navdeep has been roped in to play one of Ram Charan’s friends in the film, who is also a police officer.
A source from the film unit says, “Ram Charan plays a tough police officer role and he will have some friends who are all IPS officers. Navadeep has been roped in to play one of Ram Charan’s friends. His role is key to the story. Actually, each and every friend of Ram Charan in the film have equal importance. In the original version, Ganesh Venkatraman and Harish Uthaman played police officers and both characters have equal importance. It is yet to be known that for which role Navdeep has been roped in.”
The film is being directed by Surender Reddy. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead opposite Ram Charan. Arvind Swamy is playing the villain. Nazar and Posani Krishna Murali are also in the star cast of the film, which is likely to be titled ‘Dhruva’.
