Varun Tej who has acted in three films so far wanted to be a director. It was his uncle who created an interest for acting in Varun.
When Varun was a young kid, Chiranjeevi who was clicking his pictures told him that he has a photogenic face and should try his hand in acting. Chiranjeevi inspired Varun and planted the seed for interest in acting in him. Varun from then on followed his uncle’s suggestion and concentrated on developing his acting skills.
