Vijay Antony and Satna Titus starrer ‘Bicchagadu’ which is the dubbed version of super hit Tamil action thriller ‘Pichaikkaran’, was released on May 13. Chadalavada Padmavathi has brought the film to the Telugu audience as ‘Bicchagadu’ on Sri Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara banner. The film is directed by Sasi. On this occasion the film unit has arranged press meet.
Speaking at the press meet, Vijay Antony said, “After ‘Nakili’ and ‘Dr Saleem’, ‘Bicchagadu’ is my third film in Telugu. It was released in Tamil as ‘Pichaikkaran’ and became big success. I am very happy that it became big success in Telugu even. With the success of this film, I have decided to release all my future films in Telugu and Tamil. I usually believe in scripts. I believe that the hero is the script, not the heroism. The entire credit of the success goes to the director. Tears rolled on my cheeks when I was listening to the script. I have kept my heart and soul for the climax scene. Apart from acting, I have provided music for this film. I even turned as producer for Tamil version. At present, I am working for ‘Yamudu’ and Shaitan’. I am planning to make the sequel for ‘Dr Saleem’.”
Writer Basha Sri said, “I have good relationship with Vijay Antny garu since the time of ‘Daruvu’. He approached me for this film to pen dialogues which perfectly suits the Telugu nativity. I do did very hard work. Now the response that got for ‘Bicchagadu’ has given me immense happiness.”
“Audience have received the title and the film well. We have released ‘Bicchagadu’ in 120 centers,” said producer Chadalavada Padmavathi.
