Young hero Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Beautiful Rakul Preet Singh starrer ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ is one of the awaited films of the year. It is releasing on August 11. ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ is a romantic action drama which is coming in the combination of Sensational director Boyapati Srinu and young hero Bellamkonda Sreenivas on Dwaraka Creations Production No 2 produced by Miriyala Ravinder Reddy. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead opposite Bellamkonda Sreenivas.
As part of film's promotion Jagapathi Babu has a chit chat with the media on Monday i.e. on August 7. Read on to know what he has said about his upcoming release ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’.
“The teaser of ‘Patel SIR’ has become big asset for the film and at the same time it has become minus for the film. By watching the teaser, audience expected that the film would be suspense thriller, horror movie or a full-fledged action entertainer. Audience came to theaters will huge expectations. But, the film was not up to everyone’s expectations. In my opinion, once the hero fade out from audience mind, they will never accept him as hero. ‘Patel SIR’ has proved the same. The reason behind in picking the hero role in ‘Patel SIR’ is I loved the script. We can’t say ‘no’ when such a great producer like Sai Korrapati came up with an amazing script. I even expressed my doubt to him. But ‘Patel SIR’ has gripping story. Now coming to ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ - We cannot compare the film with ‘Legend’, but I am confident that it will earn fame to me I that range,” said Jagapathi Babu.
The actor said, “Boyapati is a wonderful director. He has the perfect idea about what he needs. I played egoist in ‘Legend’ where as in ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ I played the person who does anything for prestige. Now coming to the hero, it’s not about star hero or small hero, it’s about another star hero who is entering into Tollywood on the hands of Boyapati. Another producer is already making plans to produce a film with me as hero. I said ‘no’ to them, but the producer is enthusiastic. I said that I can’t be as a producer as I may scold artists if they don’t come in time. I am a bad businessman and bad producer and that’s why I am not going to take up production responsibility. Having great confidence on Boyapati, producer Ravinderhas not compromised in terms of making. The film has done good business. Our Telugu film industry need passionate producers like Miryala Ravinder.”
About the drugs issue, Jagapathi Babu opined, “As cinema industry people are celebrities, drug issue has become hot topic. It would have been better if they have not revealed their names during investigation.”
About his next projects, the actor said, “I am doing a film with Akhil. Plans are underway with Adivi Sesh. I am doing Kannada and Tamil movies as well.”
Let's hope that ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ will be one more milestone in his film's career.
