After Keerthy Suresh, Golden Beauty Samantha, Dulquer Salmaan and ‘Pelli Choopulu’ fame Vijay Devarakonda, the actor to join the cast is none other than versatile actor Prakash Raj. The actor will join the sets from tomorrow reprising Aluri Chakrapani of Vijaya Vauhini Studios who was one of the main persons in growth of Savitri’s career. Aluri Chakrapani was multilingual writer, producer and director.
Produced by Swapna Cinema banner and presented by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film will be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil languages. It could be dubbed in Malayalam as well. Young director Nag Ashwin of ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ fame is helming this most ambitious biopic on legendary Telugu actress Savitri. The film has been named after Savitri’s screen name ‘Mahanati’. Keerthy Suresh is playing the title role and Golden Beauty Samantha is playing a pivotal role. ‘Pelli Choopulu’ fame Vijay Devarakonda will be seen romancing Samantha in this upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual ‘Mahanati’. The film has Dulquer Salman playing the lead character.
