Charmee had approached the High Court in the matter of the drug scandal. She had requested the HC to exempt her from attending the questioning from SIT.
High Court today has said that Charmee has to attend the questioning session by the SIT in between 10am to 5pm in the presence of lady officers. Incase SIT needs extra time they can also call Charmee on another day for questioning.
Charmee's lawyer requested the High Court to consider Charmee's plea as she was unmarried and it could spoil the prospects of her marriage. High Court paid no heed to this request. It also said that there should be audio and video recording of the questioning. Charmee's lawyer will not be permitted to be present when the questioning takes place.
