Director Suseenthiran has always been a ‘Gateway’ to Tamil cinema for many talents. Over the span of a decade, lots of high potential actors and technicians have made their way into the showbiz through his movies. It is so much evident with back to back three movies – Angelina, Genius and Champion, which are scheduled at different stages of production.
In the recent times, the finalists and winners of Super Singer 6 are having their toast of celebrations with back to back offers. In particular, it’s Srikanth, who happens to be one among the finalists. He has been the favourite pick of juries and many more throughout the season. In fact, AR Rahman had made an official confirmation about getting him onboard to croon a song for his forthcoming album. But it’s a surprisal to see that Srikanth’s debut happens to be the one with Yuvan Shankar Raja for Suseenthiran’s upcoming film ‘Genius’.
The entire team believes that this song will be celebrated for its intense packaging of wonderful rendition by Srikanth, instrumental feast by Yuvan Shankar Raja and lyrical impact of veteran Vairamuthu.
The song opens with these lyrics – Neengalum Oorum Ninaipadhu Maathiri, Kadhalum Illai KarumamumIlla. Aval illaammal Arivilirundhu Viduthalai Illai.
Yet another highlighting fact about the film is that Suseenthiran completed shooting the entire film and screened it for Yuvan Shankar Raja, who later agreed to get onboard. This is because; Suseenthiran felt that none other than Yuvan can do a perfect justice as the film demands a strong background score.
Well, this is going to be a hat-trick spell for Suseenthiran-Yuvan Shankar Raja duo for they have already struck with the Chartbuster albums like Naan Mahaan Alla and Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer.
Roshan is producing this film under the banner Sudesiwood Films, who will be seen in main lead as well. The plans are going on full swing to release the film by September 2018.
