Popular actress Amala Paul has surrendered at the Thiruvananthapuram Crime Branch Police in the case of vehicle tax evasion. It has been alleged that Amala Paul had submitted fake address proof and other documents to evade tax for her luxury car in Kerala.
The crime branch officials are questioning her. If proven guilty the actress might have to face seven years rigorous imprisonment. Currently she has been charged with cheating, forgery and use of forged documents under section 420, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
