The much awaited biopic of Savitri, ‘Mahanati’ has hit the screens on May 9. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film about the life story of legendary actress Savitri is receiving outstanding response from audience all over. Keerthy Suresh, who plays Savitri in the film, is receiving praises from the audience and her contemporaries.
Audience, critics and celebrities are in heaps of praise in particular for the director Nag Ashwin for delivering a classic like ‘Mahanati’. Talented director Sukumar watched the film and came forward to praise Nag Ashwin’s work. He wrote an emotional letter to Nag Ashwin to share his experience.
In the letter, Sukumar stated, “Immediately after watching Mahanati, I tried to call Nag Ashwin. At that time, a women came to me and asked me that if I have directed the film. I couldn’t say no as she hugged me in tears praising the director’s work. She wholeheartedly blessed me. I have received all her love and I became Nag Ashwin for a while.”
Samantha, Dulquer Salman and Vijay Devarakonda played other pivotal roles. Mahanati is produced by Priyanka Dutt under Swapna Cinemas and Vyjayanthi Movies.
