Biopics seem to be in vogue. While the year has already seen compelling biopic like ‘Mahanati’ - Based on the life of legendary actress Savitri, a few are lined up to release soon including Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer ‘NTR’ - Based on the life of Viswa Vikyatha Nata Sarvabhouma Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, Mammootty starrer ‘Yatra’ - Based on the legendary politician and former chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh, Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy’s life, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ - Based on famous freedom fighter from Rayalaseema, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and ‘Chandrodayam’ - Based on the life of living legend Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who has been Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh since 2014.
Chandrababu Naidu biopic is being directed by P Venkataramana. GJ Rajendra is producing the film under Mohan Srija Cinemas and Swetharka Ganapathi Enterprises banners. The first look of the film has been launched by the makers on September 2.
Producers said, “Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as Andhra Pradesh chief minister first time on September 1, 1995. On this occasion, we have launched the first look poster of ‘Chandrodayam’. We are making the film in most prestigious way. We are planning to bring the film to audience soon.”
