Comedian Ali will be contesting in the upcoming assembly polls. He will be fielded by the Telugu Desam Party from Guntur East. Sources from TDP has confirmed this news.
Party chief Chandrababu Naidu will be announcing his name very soon. Ali will be stationed in Guntur for the canvassing. He has also rented a house for this purpose. Ali has requested for ticket from Rajamundry, but has been given ticket form Guntur Eat. Reason being that this area has huge Muslim population.
Ali is a popular star in Tollywood. He has completed 40 years in the cine industry.
