Remake of Malayalam film Athiran, Sai Pallavi starrer Anukoni Athidi has locked its release date as November 15. Vivek has directed this film. This is a psychological thriller and was a big hit in the original.
Annamreddy Krishnakumar and Govinda Ravikumar are producing it on Jayanth Arts. Introupe Films is presenting it. Besides Sai Pallavi, Fahadh Faasil, Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni, Renji Panicker, Leona Lishoy, Shanthi Krishna and others are part of the cast.
"The movie has completed its Censor formalities. We will release it on November 15 in theatres. The story is based on certain true incidents that happened in Kerala back in 1970. Not just Sai Pallavi, both Prakash Raj and Atul Kulkarni are familiar to the Telugu audience. Ghibran, who recently worked on Prabhas' 'Saaho', has composed the background music," the makers say.
