'Manam' is a special film for the Akkinenis and director Vikram K Kumar has become very close to them ever since. He has directed Akhil Akkineni's 'Hello', but the film was an average grosser at the box-office.
Now as per sources, Naga Chaitanya is keen on working with the '24' director. Both of them have met and discussed a script before the lock-down and the director has been working on it. The director might meet Chaitanya again after the lock-down. Dil Raju is said to be interested in bankrolling this project.
Director Parasuram has put his film with Naga Chaitanya on hold as he got an offer from Mahesh Babu. So, Chaitu's next after Sekhar Kammula's 'Love Story' will be most probably with Vikram. Recently, there were reports that 'Love Story', which also stars Sai Pallavi, will release in July.
