'Edge', whose lyrics, rendition and performance is by star actress Shruti Haasan, is out. This is her first original track, which in no time has got applause from the likes of AR Rahman and Devi Sri Prasad.
Edited and directed by Siddhi Patel, this one is about a troubled soul trying to find redemption. "The understating of destructive love within oneself and with others. A destruction that leads to strength and rebuilding. Unafraid to leave the empty spaces as they are - the edge is where we find ourselves," a description of the video on Shruti's YouTube channel says.
Talking about 'Edge', the 'Race Gurram' actress recently said that it is an attempt at "owning your inner chaos and loving parts of yourself that are imperfect."
Shruti recently had a ZEE5 exclusive release of her Hindi-language film, 'Yaara'.
