'Erra Gudi' is the title of a new movie coming with the caption 'Ammavaari Sakshiga Allukunna Prema Katha'. Its story begins in 1975 and concludes in 1992.
Director Sanjeev Megoti today said that the film tells a love story set in a backward time when orthodoxy and honour killing tried to separate two love birds. Social inequities form the film's subtext. When two lovers are threatened by negative forces, Goddess Ammavaaru Herself helps them achieve victory in love.
Venkat Kiran and Srijitha Ghosh are its hero and heroine, respectively. Aditya Om, Raghu Babu, Satya Prakash, Sammeta Gandhi, Esther, Ajay Ghosh, Dilli Rajeshwari, Vanitha Reddy, Rajesh Chirala and others are part of the cast.
With music by Madhav Saiba, the film will complete its production by the end of March.
