Sanjay Dutt was on Saturday night admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai with breathing problems. Media reports said that the 'Prasthanam' actor had fluctuating oxygen saturation levels and discomfort in chest region. Many started speculating that the 'Munnabhai MBBS' actor may have contracted the novel Coronavirus.
The Bollywood actor himself put the record straight on the rumours. He revealed that he has tested negative. Dutt expressed confidence that he will get discharged in a day or two.
"Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings," Sanjay Dutt tweeted.
