It's known that SP Balasubrahmanyam's health deteriorated earlier this week. He has been put on life support at the MGM Healthcare, Chennai. The news is that SPB, a Covid-19 patient, continues to be on life support. He is responding to the treatment and is stable.
"He remains stable and the doctors are closely monitoring his clinical parameters," a statement from the hospital said on Saturday afternoon.
SP Charan sounded somewhat relieved in an audio message sent out to media houses. "My dad is doing good. Putting him on a ventilator is helping him. He is showing signs of recovery," the singer said in the statement, adding that the doctors are happy that the legendary singer is responding to their treatment.
Charan hoped that his father will be out of the current health crisis very soon.
