Singer Sunitha has shared the news that she has tested positive for Covid-19. Taking to Facebook, the singer said that she "has come out of the infection".
"I had some headache recently. I wouldn't have taken it seriously in normal times. But I went ahead and got tested for Covid-19 out of precaution and keeping my parents in mind. Unfortunately, the result came back positive. But I am doing alright and am completely out of it," Sunitha said, adding that her prayers are with SP Balu, who has been undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Although several media reports have said that singer Malavika too contracted the virus on the same show where Sunitha was present, she hasn't issued any statement so far.
