Abhishek Pictures has bagged the theatrical and non-theatrical rights of 'Johar', a political satire movie which revolves around five characters. Esther Anil of 'Drishyam' fame plays one of the leads in this movie, which also stars Naina Ganguly, Eeshwari Rao, Shubhalekha Sudharkar among others.
‘Johar’ is directed by Teja Marni and produced by Bhanu Sandeep Marni under Dharma Surya Pictures banner. Abhishek Nama has acquired the rights of the movie for the two Telugu states. In the recent past, he has released many successful films like ‘Rakshasudu’ and ‘iSmart Shankar’. He is also backing content based small films like 'Pressure Cooker'.
Abhishek Pictures also has the Andhra rights for Vijay Devarakonda's 'World Famous Lover'.
