Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, who passed away last year on November 30, will continue to inspire generations through his lyrics, said Pawan Kalyan. Marking the late lyricist's Jayanthi, a book titled 'Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry Samagra Sahithyam' was unveiled.
The 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' actor remembered that he had first met the lyricist during the making of Chiranjeevi's 'Rudraveena'. "Naga Babu 'annayya' was its producer and I participated in its making from the production side. The last stanza from the song 'Chuttu pakkala' used to haunt me," Pawan said.
Trivikram Srinivas, who was present on the occasion, hailed the lyricist.
In other news, Pawan spoke with Padma Shri 'Vanajeevi' Ramaiah on a video call on Sunday. Ramaiah has been hospitalized after he sustained injuries in a road accident recently.
