'Petta' director Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Films' latest production, 'Penguin', starring National award winning actress, 'Mahanati' Keerthy Suresh, is going to release directly on Amazon Prime Video. The film will be premiered on 19th May and it will be the first major Telugu movie to release directly on Amazon.
Keerthy Suresh's 'Mahanati' has been a big hit on Amazon Prime Video and the makers hope that 'Penguin' too will get a similar response. Eeshwar Karthik is the director of this movie. Amazon's direct-to-service acquisitions include some big films.
Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushman Khurrana starrer 'Gulabo Sitabo', Vidya Balan's 'Shakuntala Devi', Jyothika's 'Ponmagal Vandhal', Aditi Rao Hydari starrer Malayalam movie, 'Sufiyum Sujathayum', Kannada movies 'Law' and 'French Biryani' are also going to released on Amazon Prime. 'Penguin' will be released in Telugu and Tamil languages.
