'Ja' is the upcoming movie of Bigg Boss fame Himaja and Prathap Raj. The entertainer's first look was on Monday unveiled by Bigg Boss title winner Rahul Sipligunj.
Touted to be a distinct horror-thriller produced by Govardhan Reddy Kandukuri, the film is directed by debutant Saidi Reddy Chitteppu. Marking Himaja's birthday, the poster was released.
Speaking on the occasion, music director Vengi said that the film has got a message and comes with a new subject. "There are four unique songs in the movie," he added. Executive Producer Upendar said that he is a doctor by profession. "The concept of the film is novel. I am confident that 'Ja' will be a hit," he added.
The director comes from an ordinary background. "I hail from a farmer's family. 'Ja' literally means janma or life. The title is completely justified. I thank the producer for trusting me," he added.
Efforts are on to release the movie soon. The producer is confident that Himaja will get recognition as a very good actress with the movie. The director has worked hard for four years on writing and developing the movie.
Himaja said, "I was shooting for a TV serial when the director came to me and gave a narration. Since I have a scope to give a full-length performance, I accepted to do the film. This film is going to take me to the next level."
