'Pelli Sandadi', the 1996 movie that starred Srikanth, Ravali and Deepti Bhatnagar, is soon going to have a sequel. One of the biggest hits of K Raghavendra Rao, the family entertainer was a huge box-office hit. The sequel is currently in the pre-production stage, with music sittings on course. MM Keeravani is working on the tunes.
As per a video clip shared by the legendary director on Twitter, Shiva Shakti Datta and Sreedhar Seepana have written the story of the sequel. Sobhu Yarlagadda-Prasad Devineni's Arka Media Works of 'Baahubali' fame and RK Film Associates are jointly producing it.
Madhavi Kovelamudi, Sunil Kumar Nama, lyricist Chandrabose, Kiran Kumar and Gowri Ronanki are associated with the film.
The cast and crew details of the entertainer, which is likely to have the same title as its 1996 cousin, will be announced soon.
