26-year-old TV actress Sravani Kondapalli on Tuesday night died by suicide at her residence in Madhura Nagar, Hyderabad. Her body has been submitted at Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem.
Sravani's parents and brother have alleged that one Devraj Reddy, whom Sravani knew for years via TikTok, drove her to commit suicide by constantly "blackmailing" her. As per reports, Sravani's brother said that Devraj from Kakinada threatened her that he will out some videos if she doesn't send him money.
This seemingly traumatized Sravani, who took the extreme step.
A case has been filed at the SR Nagar police station against Devraj. An investigation is on.
Sravani has been into TV serials since she was 18. 'Mouna Ragam' and 'Manasu Mamata' are among her well-known serials.
