Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, the 88-year-old veteran film director, has isolated himself. Earlier this month, it was learned on Wednesday, he tested positive for COVID-19. The 'Aditya 369' maker on Wednesday took to Facebook to reveal his status.
"I have isolated myself at home. My symptoms are mild. Living in a separate room and being on my own is bringing me the memories of my hostel days," Singeetam, who is known for at least three super-hits with Kamal Haasan, said.
Saying that his self-isolation will end on September 22, he added that he will be busy reading books and writing till his recovery. "I have always been a positive person. This is nothing new," he joked, suggesting that he is a positive-minded individual.
The veteran cautioned everyone and advised them to wear masks. "This pandemic is a serious thing. Observe social distancing and do everything that needs to be done," Singeetam said.
