Prominent socialite Orhan Awatramani (Orry) has revealed that he gets paid something like Rs 15 lakh to even Rs 30 lakh per wedding appearance. He was recently seen at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. He is friends with a lot of Bollywood celebs, including Ananya Panday of 'Liger' fame.
In an interview, Orry said that his primary focus is to spread the message of happiness. He believes that his physical appearances at weddings, galas and parties make others happy. "People call me to weddings and they are happy to pay me anywhere between Rs 15 lakh-Rs 30 lakh. They want me to attend not as a guest but as a friend, maybe to the groom or someone else," Orry has been quoted as saying by IE.
At the recent Ambani bash, Orry was found to be chit-chatting with international pop singer Rihanna. He later accompanied Janhvi Kapoor to Tirumala. Orry is a half-Tamilian whose income is said to be astounding.
