Kartikeya Gummakonda, who is currently doing 'Chaavu Kaburu Challaga', has signed on the dotted line for a new film. He has joined hands with debutant Sri Saripalli for a film to be produced by Sree Chitra Movie Makers. Tanya Ravichandran, who has been associated with the Tamil film industry, will be romancing the 'RX 100' actor.
"We are making the announcement marking our hero's birthday on September 21. The concept of the movie is novel. You will see Kartikeya as an NIA officer in our movie," the director said, adding that Kartikeya came on board as soon as he listened to the story.
Also featuring Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Sudhakar Komakula and Pasupathi, the film's music is by Prashant R Vihari. PC Mouli is the director of photography. Produced by 88 Ramareddy, the film will go on the floors soon.
