A new Telugu-only OTT app is all set to enter the ever-growing market for streaming platforms. At a time when the video-streaming industry is growing in size, a new player is all set to create a market for itself.
FILIM is its name. After the Allu Aravind-backed Aha, this one is yet another exclusive Telugu content-only OTT. Talking about the difference between FILIM and Aha, the spokesperson of FILIM says, "Unlike Aha, the subscription charges are the lowest compared to other OTT apps in the market. Set up by a group of young entrepreneurs, the FILIM app provides a wide range of content in the form of movies, web series, and independent movies."
To be formally launched in October, the app is going to bring to its viewers a range of new films: Vijay Sethupathi's 'PIZZA 2', Mammootty's 'RANGOON ROWDY', Priyamani's 'VISMAYA', and a host of web series, FILIM is going to have them all.
"Pizza 2 is a seat-of-the edge thriller directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi and features Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie, Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles," the app says. "All the information about the yet to be released movies, web series will be available on Filim YouTube channel in the form of teasers, trailers and songs," the app further adds.
