Vakeel Saab' has catapulted Venu Sriram to star director status. It was in 2017 that he scored his first big hit with 'MCA'. Years later, he has become a much bigger name with the Pawan Kalyan-starrer.
It's learned that Venu Sriram, who has been in the good books of Dil Raju for several years, has been constantly receiving a pat on the back from his seniors and colleagues in the film industry. The way he has handled the second half of the film, which is quite gripping, is coming in for so much applause.
Not only are Power Star's fans super-happy with the way he has shown the courtroom scenes, even the discerning sections in the film industry are thrilled. No wonder then that Venu Sriram has become a talking point in Tollywood.
His capacity for adaptation and writing smart lines (he has co-authored the lines in 'Vakeel Saab' with Mamidala Thirupathi) have shone through the big-ticket release.
For now, Sriram is revelling in the success of the remake.
