'Shukra' is an upcoming movie revolving around the concept of mind games. Starring Aravind Krishna and Srijitha Ghosh, the film is directed by Suku Poorvaj. Produced by Ayyanna Naidu and Teja Palle, the film will release on April 23.
Speaking about the movie, Madhura Sridhar Reddy said, "I introduced Aravind Krishna with 'It's My Love Story'. He is such a talented actor. 'Shukra' is coming out at a time when the situation is challenging. I wish the team all the best."
Director Suku Poorvaj said, "This is my debut feature film. I have directed indie movies and short films in the past. They went on to bag international recognition. I am hoping that 'Shukra' will win prestigious awards in the Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography categories. Madhura Sridhar garu has come forward to release the movie because he loved the content."
Srijitha Ghosh said that the director is highly talented. She thanked him for believing in her abilities.
Aravind Krishna said, "I think 'Shukra' has given me a new birth as an actor. Madhura Sridhar garu was associated with my first film. He is also bringing out this film. Due to some personal reasons, I have been away from movies. 'Shukra' is coming out after a long gap from me." He said that he has been playing basketball at the international level as a professional. He added that 'Shukra' is rich in romance, crime and lust. There is also a revenge element.
The film has music by Ashirwad and cinematography by Jagadeesh Bommisetty.
