There are hundreds of fonts for English alphabets. To create many such beautiful fonts in Telugu as well, Actor Ambarish has come forward in support. Telugu's most popular lyric writer Padmasri Sirivennela Sitharama Sastry who released the Unicode fonts- Sirivennela and Veturi Telugu unifonts expressed his happiness.
With the help of crowd-funding, Mr. Ambarish took up this act of creating as many as Telugu fonts. He met Sirivennela Sitharama Sastry to unveil the Unicode font earlier today. As it marks the 'World's mother-tongue day' today, the Telugu unifont was released in the hands of Sirivennela.
"Only if there are a number of fonts, Telugu would become more interesting and have a greater reach among the people. After the technical development, there are a number of ways to portray the alphabet. But, I feel our Telugu alphabets already have that impact. They look so wholesome", Sirivennela told.
"Ambarish is trying to create a greater impact with his hard work to have multiple fonts for Telugu alphabets. I appreciate his efforts. Ambarish has created more than 30 unique fonts in Telugu with the help of crowdfunding", Sirivennela mentioned.
