'Jai Sena', starring Srikanth and Sunil in lead roles, is a message-oriented flick. Starring Sree Karthikeya, Abhiraam, Praveen and Hareesh Gowtham in A-list roles, this V Samudra directorial is produced by V Sai Arunkumar of Siva Mahateja Films.
The news is that the makers have announced that the film is dedicated to farmers. "The teaser, trailer and songs released so far have garnered a very good response," they added.
The film will release in theatres on January 29.
Sunil, speaking at an event held to announce the release date, said that he used to watch and admire T Krishna's films during school days. "My grandfather was a farmer. He used to take me to agricultural land whenever I didn't go to school. Though a farmer doesn't need us, we all depend on him," the 'Ala Vaikuntahpurramuloo' actor said, saying that he has played a powerful IPS officer's role in 'Jai Sena'.
As per the director, the film also features four heroines. He said that the title was intended to bear resemblance to Pawan Kalyan's political party, Jana Sena. "Our film is very close to his ideology. We have suggested a good solution to the problems faced by the farmer," Samudra claimed.
Actor Praveen hoped that the film will become a big plus in his career. Abhiram, too, expressed a similar hope.
Writer Chandu said that farmers, who work restlessly, need our support. Sri Ram, Ajay Ghosh, Madhu, Azad, Dhanraj, Venu, Chammak Chandra and others are part of the cast.
Cinematography is by Vasu. Music is by S Ravishankar. Dialogues are by Thirumalasetty Suman and Parvathy Chandu. Lyrics are by Abhinay Srinu and Sira Sri.
