Taapsee Pannu is miffed with the criticism of 'Haseen Dillruba', which is streaming on Netflix. When a Twitter user said that she found the story and the narrative of the film unbearable because of how it allegedly promotes toxic masculine love (there is the portrayal of domestic violence and women doing household jobs in the movie), the 'Badla' actress defended the film.
"If we want films to not reflect the society we live in and constantly present what is the ideal world to be in then I think we should stop raising voice against all those powers too that suppress the voice of cinema when reality is projected," Taapsee wrote.
The actress also questioned a film critic for saying that her dialogue-delivery has remained monotonous across films.
